About the role

Global Objects (GO) is a leader in photoreal 3D scanning and digital replication, building ultra-high-fidelity digital twins for generative AI, virtual production, cultural preservation, and immersive storytelling.

We’re looking for a Sales & Technical Marketing Specialist to join our growing team in North Hollywood. This is a dynamic, hybrid-facing role that blends technical demos, strategic sales, and high-visibility brand representation at conferences, trade shows, and partner activations. You’ll help educate and inspire buyers, studios, and enterprise clients on the value of GO’s proprietary tech stack—including our next-gen plugin, GO Stage for Pixera, and our exclusive digital marketplace, GO Showcase.

If you love the intersection of storytelling, tech, and business — and want to help shape the future of 3D and digital twins — this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Demonstration & Product Activation

  • Provide hands-on demos of GO’s capture systems (GO Wave, GO Ray) and partner hardware (e.g., XGRIDS for Gaussian Splatting)

  • Visit virtual production stages to demo GO Stage plugin for Pixera with real-time Gaussian splats

  • Coordinate and present technology at client locations, productions, and XR innovation labs

  • Translate complex 3D capture concepts into compelling, value-driven narratives for non-technical audiences

Sales & Brand Representation

  • Represent Global Objects at major industry events (e.g., NAB, SIGGRAPH, CES) and generate qualified leads

  • Build relationships with studios, production companies, and immersive tech firms interested in our solutions

  • Pitch GO Capture services and GO Showcase licensing opportunities to new and existing clients

  • Deliver product presentations, live demos, and technical overviews in one-on-one and group settings

Lead Generation & Market Development

  • Own outbound and inbound sales activities in targeted sectors (film/TV, gaming, AI, education, cultural institutions)

  • Prospect and qualify clients for scanning services, digital assets, and private marketplace licensing

  • Track and report sales activity, demo engagements, and feedback using GO's CRM and lead capture tools

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create tailored decks, one-sheets, and activation materials

You Are

  • Confident presenting to both creatives and technical teams

  • Excited about 3D scanning, immersive media, and the future of AI-powered environments

  • Comfortable traveling (domestic and international) up to 25–40% of the time

  • Proactive, well-spoken, and capable of translating features into real-world benefits

  • Equally at home at a tech expo, a virtual set, or an academic AI symposium

Must-Have Experience

  • Familiarity with 3D capture technologies (LiDAR, photogrammetry, Gaussian Splatting, NeRFs)

  • Sales or technical marketing experience in media, tech, or VFX sectors

  • Strong communication skills — written, verbal, and visual storytelling

  • Hands-on experience with scanning hardware or real-time tools

  • Valid passport and ability to travel frequently for activations and conference

  • Collaborative Team Player

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Pixera, Unreal Engine, Unity, or LED volume workflows

Demonstrated success selling B2B technical services or creative technology platforms

Content creation skills for demos, case studies, and technical sales enablement

Knowledge of digital asset marketplaces or IP licensing models

Background in VFX, XR, simulation, or creative technology sales

Global Objects (GO) is a leader in photoreal 3D scanning and digital replication, creating ultra-high-fidelity digital twins of real-world objects, environments, and props for use across virtual production, generative AI, cultural preservation, and immersive storytelling.

We’re hiring a Capture Technician to join our in-house Capture Team, based in North Hollywood. This is a full-time, on-site role with the potential for frequent domestic and international travel. A valid passport is required.

As a Capture Technician, you’ll be responsible for operating LiDAR, photogrammetry, and drone systems to scan physical environments, props, and costumes with the precision needed to meet Global Objects’ industry-leading standards. You’ll work closely with the Capture Lead and post-production teams to ensure clean, structured, and engine-ready output.

This is a high-accountability role for someone who thrives in the field, loves solving technical puzzles, and understands the importance of every pixel and polygon.

  • Ensure high-fidelity capture through meticulous setup of lighting, alignment, and calibration

  • Travel on-site to locations both domestic and international (passport required)

Data Management & Workflow

  • Transfer and organize scan data according to GO’s naming conventions and asset pipeline standards

  • Perform basic model validation and support the post team with initial mesh processing

  • Track capture metadata and ensure assets are ready for GO workflows

Team Collaboration

  • Report to and collaborate with the Capture Lead

  • Work with post-production, pipeline, and R&D teams to meet creative and technical requirements

  • Provide real-time field reports, help troubleshoot hardware, and contribute to workflow improvements

You Are

  • Reliable, detailed, and tech-savvy

  • Comfortable working in the field (sometimes in fast-paced or variable conditions)

  • Flexible with travel, including overnight, multi-day, and international trips

  • Organized and responsible with sensitive data and hardware

  • Passionate about 3D scanning, digital twins, and emerging media technologies

Must-Have Experience

  • Hands-on experience with photogrammetry and/or laser scanning (LiDAR)

  • Strong understanding of computer graphics principles (scale, texture, shaders, materials)

  • Ability to lift and transport scanning gear safely

  • Fluent in file handling, data management, and organizational structure

  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally

Nice to Have

  • FAA Part 107 Drone Certification

  • Experience with UV unwrapping and 3D cleanup (e.g., ZBrush, Blender)

  • Familiarity with Unreal Engine, Unity, or real-time pipelines

  • Experience with Gaussian Splatting, NeRFs, or radiance fields

  • Interest in virtual production, immersive content, or preservation
